CIS is a beautiful new facility designed jointly by architects from China and Canada . Our school is located at No.38 Liangmaqiao Lu, Chaoyang District in the Third Embassy Quarter downtown Beijing .

This facility includes:

1. 90 Modern Classrooms:
   Each classroom will be equipped with the SMART Board system. It would be impossible to list all the advantages these 
   will offer to our classrooms. Generally, SMART Boards replace the traditional blackboards. They are full blackboard-
   sized interactive computer screens that allow teachers to bring the world into the classroom. At the most basic level, a
   board can be used like a traditional whiteboard.
2. Seven computer labs to provide ample opportunity for the development of Information Technology beginning with
   Grade 2.
3. Two Libraries: One to serve the K - 5 Grade students, the other to serve the Grades 6 - 12 students. Each library will
   have a reading collection to support the curriculum as well as ample computer stations to allow for research. 
4. Science Labratories: Modern, well-equipped labs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
5. A Broad-Based Technology Labratory for the middle and high school programs. 
6. Two Visual Arts Labratories. 
7. Two Lecture Theatres: One of these theatres has moveable seating so that it can double as a multipurpose room. 
8. A Theatre with a 500 seating capacity for major productions and meetings.
9. A Display Area for Fine Arts.
10. Two Gymnasiums: A full-sized gym for all types of competitive indoor sports and a smaller gym for the elementary program. 
11. A 25 m swimming pool. 
12. A Wading Pool for young children.
13. A large Area for Dance and other types of movement education. 
14. A Weight Training Area. 
15. An Outdoor Space for a Short Track. 
16. A Small Soccer Field. 
17. A Large Full-service Cafeteria and a Smaller Cafeteria for special requirements.

Food Service

Menu selections feature a diverse and nutritious range of western and Chinese, set meals, salads, juices, and a snack bar.

Health Services

The school clinic will be open to serve students and staff in the school hours from Monday to Friday. The clinic treats minor injuries, performs first aid, performs health screenings and maintains students' health records.
